Oni za sebe kažu: RedMonk is the first analyst firm built on open source. We’re dedicated to providing high quality research at no cost, and believe that the dialog that follows is beneficial to us, our community and our clients.
Opet posežem za citatom: James McGovern is an industry thought leader whose focus is on the human aspects of technology around open source, SOA, software security, enterprise architecture and agile software development. Ne zanima vas to o čemu on piše?
Kad sam već započeo sa citatima onda ću i nastaviti: This site is my *personal* weblog - I will write whatever I want here about anything I want using any style I want and cover a range of topics from the trivial to professional. You will find the occasional swear word and extreme opinion here - those with delicate sensibilities should probably stay away. Remember, you are not being forced to read this site, so if you dislike anything about it, please feel free to not read it..
How Software is Built [4] nije klasičan blog, ali mu u podnaslovu stoji A blog forum to provide deep dive analysis and community conversations about software development models.. Donosi niz obimnih razgovora s facama iz svijeta razvoja softvera koji upravljaju razvojem velikih projekata ili vode velike timove (PostgreSQL, OpenOffice, Intel’s Software Products Division, High-Performance Computing at Microsoft, MySQL, NASA World Wind).
Andriy Solovey je autor bloga Software Creation Mystery [5] Citat: First insights came from books like Steve McConnel’s Code Complete, NASA software methodologies and RUP - establish sound software engineering methods and standards. It helped, but the essential problems stayed. Agile wave with Extreme Programming opened eyes on more interesting and effective approaches - adaptive and people-oriented. It moved emphasis from technical and process superiority to human and evolutionary wisdom in software development. Study of user experience and psychology gave some understanding what system people would use and enjoy. However, most problems are still there - we are too far from perfection in creating good, reliable and useful systems. And this is endless source of topics for this blog. Moja preporuka za uvodno čitanje je njegov prvi post: What is Software Development?.
